ARTIST STATEMENT

I find inspiration in the unexpected.
It can happen in a flash. The shape of a stone, the rhythm of a pattern in the street, or a colour combination that appears for a second in my mind. Sometimes it begins in my sketchbook, which is my playground. But when I paint, I let my subconscious lead. I follow the painting more than I control it. It tells me what it needs to feel complete.

My work is a dialogue between chaos and clarity. I create characters with a message. Of hope, openness, energy, oneness, and love. My job is to clarify their message through colour and form.

The unknown letters and symbols in my art always come from my subconscious. Even though they cannot be “read,” they speak a universal language. They transmit what the viewer needs to receive.

My art is the game of imperfection. The perfection of the unperfect. I believe raw emotion is a kind of beauty in itself. I let my childish side take over, release control, and follow the flow. Sometimes a shape changes direction simply because the unexpected asks it to.

I sometimes work with found or reclaimed materials. Fragments from everyday life that carry their own story. A cracked brick, a broken object, or a piece of fabric can be transformed through colour and character. I believe anything can be given new life through art. Not to hide its imperfections, but to elevate them.

Whether on canvas or stone, every piece I create is a conversation. Between colour and chaos. Between me and the world.
